This project was a passion project taken on by a Knoxville-based map maker, Native Maps. Working with a poetry expert, writing a textbook to be funded on kickstarter, Native Maps created a map that could be used to easily identify how a poem could be categorized either through contents or construction. This project was several years in the work prior to me joining the team, however, I was the intern that finished version one for production. I cleaned up the initial wireframe of the map, organized the file layers, and created over 10 different color palettes for the map. The inspiration for the coloration came from vintage color wheels.
